Have You Seen You Mother, Baby?

Some of my people and their mothers. I know, I'm a creeper.

Four generations of Cher's family: her grandmother, Cher, Chaz, and Cher's mother.
John, Julia, and Andy Warhola. Andy would later go by just "Warhol". Andy made an experimental film of her, Mrs. Warhol, in 1966.
Ella van Heemstra Ruston, with daughter Audrey Ruston (Hepburn).
"I can really take no credit for any talent that Audrey may have. If it's real talent, it's God-given. I might as well be proud of a blue sky, or the paintings in the Flemish exhibition at the Royal Academy." -Ella van Heemstra Ruston

Beatty and Abram Zimmerman with their son, Robert, also known as Bob Dylan.
Anne-Marie 'Toty' Bardot and Brigitte Bardot. This is actually a portrait by Gerhard Richter, called Mutter und Tochter.
Jean and Chrissie Shrimpton with their mother and grandmother.
Peggy Burns with one of her son's (David Bowie) records.
Alice Delano de Forest with her daughter, Edie Sedgwick. Edie was one of eight children!
Sara Taylor and her daughter Elizabeth Taylor.
Elvis and his mother, Gladys Presley. When he wanted his first guitar instead of a rifle, she bought it for him.
Eric Clapton and his grandmother Rose, who raised him as her son.
Eric Clapton and his mother, Patricia, who he was raised to believe was his sister.
George Harrison throwing a few back with his mom, Louise.
Grace Kelly and Margaret Majer Kelly.
A very pregnant Grace Slick and her mother, Virginia Barnett Wing.
Janet Bouvier and her daughters Jacqueline (Kennedy Onassis) and Caroline.
Margaret Asher with Jane.
Lucille Jeter Hendrix and her son, James (Jimi).
Clara Morrison holding her son, Jim.
John Lennon with his mother, Julia. He wrote "Julia" and "Mother" in reference to her.
Joan Jett and mother.
Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy and John.
Keith Richards with mom, Doris.
Eva von Sacher-Masoch with her daughter, Marianne Faithfull.
Gladys Pearl Baker with daughter Norma Jeane, later Marilyn Monroe.
Mick Jagger with his mom, Eva.
Diana Boyd and Pattie.
Mary, Michael, and Paul McCartney. Paul wrote "I Lost My Little Girl" and "Let It Be" in reference to her.
Elsie and Ritchie Starkey (Ringo Starr).

OH MY GOSH I love this! It's so incredibly sweet to see these people as little babies in their mother's arms, before they were rock legends and sex symbols and all that.

That is NOT Jacqueline Kennedy...it's her sister Lee Radzwill and her two children...

It is heartbreaking to look at these photos of the sweet little children or the grown adults with their mothers, and know that so many of these people smoked pot and had premarital sex, etc. How would their mothers feel about that if they could see into the future and know that their little darlings would grow up to do that? Take Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, for example. Here they are standing there with their mothers who must be so proud of their sons, yet they all used drugs and slept with groupies, etc. That is terrible. And Pattie Boyd used drugs, but here she is a sweet little girl in the photo. The list goes on and on.

No Bob Dylan!

Close, but no cigar.

It is not Bob but a niece of his father Abe Zimmerman's that is said to be the child.

LOL @Cindybin I really hope you’re trolling because if you’re not that makes you the most puritanical commenter I’ve ever come across. Most people have premarital sex now so you must be horrified lol
